The partnership between Asbestos Services UK and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, launched in September 2015, has announced its exciting fund raising plans for the year ahead..
Following on from the success of last year's Golf Day, a second Golf Day is set to take place this summer, with players from businesses within the building industry taking part. Last year's event raised a fantastic £3,000 and the company is hoping to top that figure with this event.
Dave Coleman, Managing Director of AS UK said: "We really enjoyed our collaboration with Roy Castle last year and committed to raising £10,000 during a 12 month period. We've got a whole host of events planned for 2016 and look forward to kicking those off soon."
The asbestos removal firm are also set to host a business to business five a side tournament in June.
Dave continued: "We're really trying to galvanise support from within our industry, the construction sector, and recognise that sporting events are really popular. There's nothing like this in Liverpool at the moment and we think there'll be a strong uptake."
The AS UK team will also take part in a Tough Mudder event, raising money individually to boost the fund raising pot.
