Double ISO Accreditation secured for AS UK

AS UK awarded both the ISO 9001 and 14001, both quality management systems relating to a business's performance and commitment.

The team at Asbestos Services UK are celebrating having secured a double quality management accreditation. The firm has been awarded both the ISO 9001 and 14001, both quality management systems relating to a business's performance and commitment. The 9001 focusses on the ability to provide products and services that meet the needs of customers whilst ISO 14001 focuses on the requirements for the formulation of an EMS which helps to control environmental aspects, reduce impact and ensure legal compliance.

The management team led by Managing Director Dave Coleman have worked hard to ensure the business complied with the expectations set out by ISO and the firm was recently audited by UKAS inspectors.

Dave said: "As a growing business, we want to ensure that our systems are not only compliant but that they support and enhance the wider operation. ISO offer clear guidelines and expectations which we are able to comply with and which ultimately will help us take our business to the next level."

He added: "This news and our recent successful confirmation of a new three years licence are both really strong developments for the business, ending 2015 on a definite high. We look forward to 2016 building further on our success to date."
